SALES MANAGER

The critical and highly visible position of Sales Manager is responsible for building and leading a sales team to meet or exceed annual sales goals. Your extensive track record in both residential real estate transactions as well as mortgage origination will produce immediate success.

In order to gain a first hand understanding of our clients and their motivations, you will initially need to understand our existing systems and how to use them. This insight will be invaluable in formulating and tailoring your sales strategies and systems for sales success.

Upon understanding our client base, you will then recruit and retain a highly motivated sales team that has a strong sense of urgency to perform at the highest levels while maintaining a customer service focus that builds strong client relationships and closes deals.

As our new Sales Manager, you will be mentored and trained on our company’s products. Once we are confident of your ability to produce consistent results, we are looking for you to build a team of Financial Specialists that will allow you to leverage your time and your income. Your team will be selling distressed homeowners nationally via phone in all four time zones.

In this position, you will be building relationships with new and existing customers, actively supporting all product offerings, and support and drive company initiatives. You will take a lead role in managing customer relationships to ensure brand integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Leadership

Set goals for the work group, develop organizational capability, and model how we work together, including:

  • Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure direct reports promote a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.

  • Support the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Planning and Execution

Develop strategic and operational plans for the work group, manage execution, and measure results, including:

  • Develop annual operating plan and budget, and quarterly forecast updates.

  • Plan and manage business unit/department processes and practices to ensure programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.

  • Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization.

  • Provide direction in developing market strategy and plans for emerging markets in the zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Business Requirements

Provide functional expertise and execute responsibilities, including:

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers in existing and new client base.

  • Collaborate with company leadership to ensure that sales team efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Define and report weekly on trends, key initiatives and priorities.

  • Help to remove barriers and ensure that sales efforts receive needed support to service clients.

  • Manage sales pipelines and prioritizes target lists of potential new clients to increase sales productivity within area of responsibility.

  • Track and report on sales performance of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Team Development & Team Building

Provide team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and build effective teams, including:

  • Challenge and inspire team to achieve business results.

  • Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews.

  • Develop and implement quarterly team meetings to refine strategies, tactics and celebrate successes.

  • Ensure team members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

  • Lead, coach and mentor team through coaching sessions and joint sales calls, to develop selling, pipeline management and market planning skills.

  • Oversee training and development of team members and make effective staffing decisions.

  • Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to achieve team, business and customer results.

  • Recruit potential sales team candidates through networking and referrals.

QUALIFICATIONS - Required Experience

  • Supervision (7 years)

  • Analysis of financial performance (5 years)

  • Direct sales, sales management and team leadership (5 years)

  • Real estate Sales (preferred)

  • Mortgage Sub-Prime Loan Origination (5 years)

  • Negotiating complex sales agreements and contracts (5 years)

QUALIFICATIONS - Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to project management and change management processes.

  • Ability to build long-term business relationships, as well as selling and managing accounts.

  • Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel.

  • Ability to adapt to business requirements of customers and potential customers.

  • Ability to build and develop productive sales teams.

  • Ability to execute sales plans and meet sales objectives.

  • Financial management skills, including analysis of profit and loss and return on investment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

OTHER DETAILS

  • Supervisor - President

  • Work Hours - 40-60 hours per week as necessary.

  • Location - Downtown Seattle office
